On 5th May 2021, the Finance Bill 2021/2022 was published by the CS, National Treasury. The Bill proposes several amendments to various taxes and duties.
The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has collected Sh476.6 billion, surpassing the Financial Year 2021-2022, Quarter One (July – September 2021) revenue target of Sh461.6 billion by Sh14.9 billion. KRA Commissioner General, Githii Mburu said the performance reflects a sustained revenue growth in the first three months of the year, with a performance rate of 103.2 per cent and growth of 30 per cent.
